we have developed a safety bracelet, the Safelet, that allows you to notify friends, family and other where you are when you need help. The Safelet is connected via Bluetooth Low Energy to your smartphone. 

The user can build his/her own guardian network by simply inviting trusted contacts. When the user activates the alarm all guardians are alerted via a siren-like sound on theier mobile. If they open the message they will see the location of the user and can listen to an audio recording of the incident. They can let the user and the other guardians know that they will respond to the emergency. When they do so, their location is added to the map.
